Final Fantasy XV Day One Patch Details Revealed; Suggests Game on Disc Is Incomplete

Final Fantasy XV Day One Patch Details Revealed; Suggests Game on Disc Is Incomplete
The day one patch of Final Fantasy XV introduces gameplay features
It has a download size of around 7GB
Final Fantasy XV’s official release date is November 29
Final Fantasy XV had an early release date which saw eager gamers finish the game, some of whom have posted its ending on YouTube. Spoilers aside, early players have noted that the game has a day one patch that is already live.

Additions to the game include “new items and cutscenes”, “cutscene adjustments”, and “deeper combat, driving, and other game mechanics”. All of this implies that the game on disc isn’t as complete as Square Enix would like us to believe. After all, when the game’s release date was pushed back, game director Hajime Tabata stated that there would be no patch required to play the game.

“The disc that is going on sale on the 29th of November will contain everything scheduled to be on the day one patch, as well as some extra things on top of that,” he said at the time. “So we will be delivering what we consider to be the ultimate quality version of FFXV to all the players who play without connecting online as well.”
However this does not seem to be the case. According to a press release from publisher Square Enix obtained by SiliconEra, Final Fantasy XV’s day one patch, or Crown Update as the company is calling it, appears to be rather substantial, and crucial to the experience.

Final Fantasy XV day one patch details:
• Camera improvements will make it easier to track action going on in narrow areas.
• The new “Wait Mode” function (makes it so the game automatically waits when you stop command inputs) will get an ability tree for more in-depth strategic elements.
• A “Monster Whistle” that can be used to call out monsters will be added.
• New event scenes from Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV and “Omen” trailer will be added.
• Recipes and fish varieties, as well as a gallery, will be added for players who enjoy collecting items.
• Social network function will be added, allowing players to upload Prompto’s photographs to Facebook and Twitter.

Also there’s the message from director Hajime Tabata addressing the Final Fantasy XV street date break:

“We are nearing the release date of November 29. I’m wishing from the bottom of my heart that everyone will get to enjoy the game with a fresh new feeling. However, we’ve confirmed that some packages of Final Fantasy XV have been released around some parts of the world, with gameplay videos being uploaded to the Internet. This may be inevitable due to regional circumstances, but it’s something we regret very much.”

“It’s our big goal to have everyone enjoy the story of Final Fantasy XV and discover its surprises through the simultaneous global release. There are likely other spoiler videos and such circulating out there that we had not expected, so for those of you looking forward to Final Fantasy XV, we hope that you’ll be careful.”

“We are doing everything we can to prevent the circulation of the spoiler videos. For those of you that received the game earlier, please keep those who’ve waited a long time for the game in consideration. In order to meet the best possible release date with everybody, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.”

Final Fantasy XV Day One Edition Has a Special Surprise for Fans

Final Fantasy XV Day One Edition Has a Special Surprise for Fans

Final Fantasy XV Day One Edition Has a Special Surprise for Fans
Final Fantasy XV’s release date is November 29
The game is out early in several countries including India
Its day one edition has developer autographs
With Final Fantasy XV available in more than a few countries before release date, it was only a matter of time before India saw an early release of the game as well. Gadgets 360 managed to get an early copy and we noticed that the game has something extra.

Aside from the obvious day one downloadable content (dubbed as the Masamune DLC weapon), a reversible cover, and obligatory pamphlets that yields information on customer support, Square Enix also included the signatures of the development team with a background that reads: “Thank you for your support”.

(Also see: Final Fantasy XV Day One Patch Details Revealed; Suggests Game on Disc Is Incomplete)

It’s an interesting addition. More so considering most game companies don’t usually take this approach — allowing an entire or seemingly sizeable part of the development team to be known outside of the game’s credits.
FFXV disc 221616 181640 8574 final_fantasy_XV
Nonetheless, the developer autographs are present in the Peruvian version of the game which shares the same ESRB rating as the US version. Safe to say day one US buyers will get this as well. Considering that the day one edition of Final Fantasy XV is the same across the world, Indian buyers should get it too, along with extra DLC depending where you pre-order from.

So far, initial impressions of Final Fantasy XV seem positive. At least in terms of technical performance, what with performance before installing the patch being a whole lot better than what it was in Episode Duscae, the Platinum Demo, and the Judgement Disc Demo on a standard PS4. Stay tuned to Gadgets 360 for detailed, spoiler-free impressions soon.

Oculus Rift Will Get Xbox One Game Streaming Support on December 12

Oculus Rift Will Get Xbox One Game Streaming Support on December 12

  • Xbox One Streaming to Oculus Rift app available December 12
  • While Rift works on Windows 7 and above, the app is for Windows 10 only
  • Titles include Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4

Microsoft has announced that you will soon be able to stream Xbox One games from your console to Oculus Rift on Windows 10 PCs with the help of a new app – Xbox One Streaming to Oculus Rift app.

“The new Xbox One Streaming to Oculus Rift app connects to your Xbox One via your home network,” Kevin Unangst, senior director of global marketing at Xbox, said in an official blog post. “Once connected, your console’s video output is streamed to your Rift headset and projected onto a massive screen in your choice of one of three immersive VR environments: ‘Citadel’, ‘Retreat’ and ‘Dome’.”

If you’re wondering what’s the need for “immersive VR environments”, that’s because your Xbox One games aren’t capable of naturally adapting to Rift’s 360-degree view. Project Scorpio, the confirmed 4K-and-high-end-VR upgrade to the Xbox One, isn’t out until fall 2017, so you’ll have to wait a bit to see if your Rift is supported by Project Scorpio, or Microsoft chooses to build its own native VR hardware. The latter approach would be a shift in how the company is approaching VR headsets for Windows 10, but then again the Xbox division has always built its own hardware.

While a full list of games isn’t available, Microsoft said that you’ll be able to stream the likes of Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4, Halo 5: Guardians, “biggest sports games”, “indie darlings”, and even some backward compatible Xbox 360 titles. Microsoft also wants potential Rift buyers to know that every Rift purchase comes with a free Xbox wireless controller – a nudge of sorts towards consumers to pick up an Xbox One S during the holidays if they are jumping onto the VR bandwagon – unlike the Oculus Touch controllers that cost $199 (about Rs. 13,600) on top of the Rift’s own $599 (about Rs. 41,000) price point. The Xbox One Streaming to Oculus Rift app will be available for free in the Oculus Store on December 12, Microsoft said, and more titles will be added in the coming year. Hopefully, someone at Microsoft can use the next two weeks to come up with a better name for the app.

Forza Horizon 3 Demo Now Available on Windows 10; HDR Support for Xbox One Demo Added
Demo requires 21GB of disk space to install
HDR support for demo on Xbox One S added
Game can be downloaded from Windows Store
Beta and demo versions of most games are released well ahead of their full release in order to build the hype around the launch of the game and let the players test their machines with the game’s requirements. The latter reason has become increasingly important as the games have become more demanding than ever. Disregarding the usual trend, Microsoft has now released a demo version of its racing game Forza Horizon 3 on Windows, more than a month after its official release.
Forza Horizon 3 has been received extremely well by the critics since its release and in our review of the game, we specifically pointed out the brilliant visuals and the wide range of the car roster available in the game. The demo version of the game on Xbox One was made available ahead of its official release but for some reason, Microsoft decided to hold back the PC version up until now.

(Also Read: Forza Horizon 3 Review)
The demo for the off-road racing game by Microsoft Studios can be downloaded from Windows Store here. The demo version of the game requires disk space of around 21GB.
It should be noted that even the minimum requirements necessary to play the game are demanding than some of the other titles on PC. As per the game’s listing, your setup requires at least 8GB of RAM and an equally or more capable processor than 3.4GHz i5 3570. In terms of graphic cards, your setup should have a graphic card equally or more capable than NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti or AMD R7 250X.

Apart from releasing the demo version of the Forza Horizon 3 for PC, the company has also introduced HDR support – which has been present on the full game from day one – to the Xbox One demo version of the game, meant for players on the Xbox One S and those using an HDR display.

Forza Horizon 3 received 9 out of a possible 10 rating in our review and we termed it as “vastly improved and polished instalment in the Forza Horizon series.” Given that the PC version also supports resolutions up to 4K, it might be the best time to check if your system is ready for this monster of a game before spending your hard earned money on it.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Now Available Worldwide for Windows, PS4, and Xbox One

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Now Available Worldwide for Windows, PS4, and Xbox OneCall of Duty: Infinite Warfare Now Available Worldwide for Windows, PS4, and Xbox One
Game available in retail stores as well as for digital download
Available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One
Gameplay trailer received flak on YouTube
Call of Duty is one of those game franchises that churns out annual editions of its game but still captivates the interest of video-game enthusiasts around the world with its releases. Now, the series has come up with its latest entry – Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which is now available for retail worldwide in stores as well as digitally.

(Also See: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Review)

The game has been released on Windows PC, PS4, and Xbox One. In terms of storage size, users will need between 44.6GB to 53.6GB of free on the PS4 to install the game while on the Xbox One, they’ll need 52.1GB of free space to install Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. A day one patch to fix stability issues is out as well, weighing in at roughly 6GB. Though there were no perceptible changes on the PS4 version we played.
In our review of the game, we found the single-player campaign to be “entertaining enough to keep well worn gameplay mechanics from getting stale,” while we found that the multiplayer component of the game and its monetisation model to be glaring points of concern.

If you purchase the Legacy, Legacy Pro or Digital Deluxe Edition you will also receive a copy of remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
“We began three years ago with the goal to push ourselves in an all-new direction and take players to places they’ve never been before. In Infinite Warfare, we’re telling a classic war story of good vs. evil, and adding an epic backdrop that lets us introduce a ton of innovative gameplay,” Studio Head of game’s developer Infinity Ward Dave Stohl was quoted as saying in company’s release.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare might prove to be one of the most crucial entries for the game series in recent times, as the Activision franchise has been facing serious competition from Battlefield One, the latest instalment of the rival game franchise from EA. The war, in figurative terms, between the latest entries from both franchises started right from the time when gameplay trailers for both games came out. The Infinite Warfare trailer received highly negative feedback from fans as it was downvoted in huge numbers on YouTube.

Contrastingly, Battlefield One created a positive buzz for its gameplay and was upvoted in large numbers. As the two franchises have been facing-off against each other for a long time, comparisons were drawn almost immediately. However, the game should not be discarded as we have earlier pointed out that single-player campaign shows promise with space combat, elements of exploration, and some interesting set-pieces.

“Infinite Warfare is hands-down the best story campaign we’ve had in years and is a leap forward in the fluid, fast-paced action that Call of Duty fans know and love,” CEO of Activision Eric Hirshberg was quoted as saying in company’s release.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare game has been available for pre-order in India since September and can be bought from websites like Amazon and Flipkart as well.

You can check out the PC system requirements for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare over here.

How to Manage a Handmade Business of One

At the start of your business, you are doing everything yourself. As you grow, may decide to hire people to help you act on and manage certain tasks. But not everyone wants to hire help. Some people enjoy making products and managing a business on their own. They want to be a handmade business of one and “stay small and keep it all.”

Whichever camp you fall into, if you happen to be a handmade business of one, there are some specific things you’ll need to do on a regular basis to build a profitable and sustainable venture. Here are 11 of them.

Helpful Habits For A Handmade Business Of One

1. Choose a Tiny Niche of Retail and/or Wholesale Customers

Make absolutely sure you are not trying to be all things to all people. Become uber selective about who you sell to, and do not complicate your life by selling internationally. Only sell into retail stores that order regularly and never balk at paying your prices. Spend most of your time treating your repeat customers like gold, and less time working to attract new customers.

2. Use a Shipping Service That Will Pick Up Your Orders

Don’t waste time going back and forth to the post office. Use a shipping service that will pick up orders at your door and deliver them safely to your customers. Invest your time making, marketing, selling, and packing your products. Let the shipping experts handle the rest.

3. Keep Products to a Minimum

Don’t overwhelm yourself by creating a huge line of products. Keep your inventory fresh and small. Rather than spending time making new lines of products to sell, spend time making your small line of products as unique as you possibly can — with price points to match.

4. Automate Everything

You may spend some money here, but it is worth it. Automation is the tool that frees you up to truly enjoy your business, and you can implement it and still maintain the personal touch. Here are just a few automation ideas that pay off big.

Automate emails requesting that ordering customers share a review of a product they recently purchased from you. Set up a system where the review automatically goes into a cue for your review, and where you can push it to your website with a click of a button.

Use HootSuite, Edgar or another social media tool to automate your social media posts.

Use email auto-responders to let people know when you are away from your business so they know when you will be getting back to them.

5. Publish a Bi-monthly Blog Post

Even solopreneurs need to regularly add new content to their websites to feed the search engines and attract organic traffic. Blogging 24 times a year gives you several search engine boosts without wearing you out.

6. Hire an SEO Specialist or Take Classes to Learn How to Boost SEO Yourself

A bi-monthly blog post will keep you in the online game and provide great content for your website visitors, but it alone will not crack the SEO nut for you. To do that, you’ll need to hire a good SEO specialist or take some classes and learn how to manage SEO for yourself.

7. Publish a Bi-monthly Newsletter

No matter the size of your business or your staff, you’ll need to be consistently engaged in list building activities. Make sure it’s easy for people to sign up for your newsletter by clearly displaying a newsletter sign up option. When you travel to events, offer everyone an opportunity to sign up for your list.

Send out an update to everyone twice a month so you can remain top of mind for the people who have opted in to hear from you. Offer information that will help them live a better life and remind them of how easy and fun it is to purchase and experience the products you have to offer.

8. Take Several Vacations Each Year

If you are doing everything yourself, make sure you fit in as many vacations as you can. One or two of your vacations may last a week or more, but if you cannot get away for that large a chunk of time, try taking several mini-vacations throughout the year. Getting away to a favorite spot for one or two nights can mean the difference between burning out and thriving.

9. Schedule Everything

Whether you use Google Calendar, a paper planner, a smart phone app, or an open email edited to update your schedule daily, a calendaring tool specifying exactly what you will do every day will be indispensable to your success. At the end of each day, applaud yourself for accomplishing everything on your list.

10. Buy Ingredients and Supplies in Bulk

Order as much as you can in bulk, and at regularized intervals. This will save you the time consuming task of checking your stock to order what you are nearly out of. It also virtually ensures that you never run out of anything you need to make your products. It will also save you money since buying in bulk lowers the per unit cost of everything you use to make your products.

11. Master a Single Social Media Outlet

Like all entrepreneurs, you’ll need to use social media. The difference between you and others who use social media is that if you are doing everything yourself, you are better off using a single outlet than to try to manage half a dozen of them.

The best thing to do is to have a minimally maintained presence on all of the major outlets (Twitter, Facebook, Instgram, and Pinterest), but make it your business to become a master at just one of them. In this way, you can maintain a stellar brand presence at one social media platform, rather than a sub-par presence on all of them. Refer your customers, the media and other stakeholders to your main social media outlet and perform minimal monthly maintenance on the rest of them.

I’m sure there are more things you can think of that a handmade business of one needs to do on a regular basis to keep the orders flowing in and the quality product flowing out. What did I miss? I’d love to hear what your experience has been. Do share in the comments below.

This Laptop Deck Turns the HP Elite x3 into a PC and Phablet in One

The HP Elite x3 Lap Dock is a new offering from HP that turns your mobile phone into a laptop with many of the same capabilities.

The new HP (NYSE:HPQ) Elite x3 is a full featured phablet with a hefty price tag, and for small businesses that can afford it, the Lap Dock is the perfect accessory to make it a complete system.

Businesses now want a mobile device that can handle Microsoft’s Office applications just like a desktop, HP seems to be betting. They want their employees to have all the tools they need when they are outside of the office, which is what the HP Elite x3 delivers. But when they get back, it is important to seamlessly connect to peripherals that let these devices to continue functioning like a desktop. The Lap Dock makes that possible for the x3 with a very slim form factor device.

At first glance the Lap Dock looks like a regular laptop, but it is far from that. It is solely designed to extend the capability of the x3, and essentially has no guts. That means no processor, hard drive, RAM, etc.

When you open the device, you get a nearly borderless 12.5-inch diagonal LED-backlit Full HD (1920 x 1080) display, a backlit spill-resistant keyboard with drain and a large touchpad. It delivers the audio with integrated Bang & Olufsen stereo speakers, noise canceling microphones and stereo headphone jack.

The HP Elite x3 Lap Dock is a new offering from HP that turns your mobile phone into a laptop with many of the same capabilities.

The ports and connectors include micro HDMI, 1 USB Type-C for data and charging, 2 USB Type-C for data and power in/out. The whole thing is powered by a 4-cell 46W/hr battery that is powerful enough to charge the x3 when you run out of juice.

Pairing the x3 and Lap Dock is made possible with Miracast and WiGig technologies. All you have to do is place the phablet next to the dock, and you are ready to go. Continuum and HP Workspace take care of everything else.

The Lap Dock will be available November 14, 2016 for $599. So, with the HP Elite x3 starting at $799, price will clearly be the biggest barrier for budget conscious small businesses.

Five Ways to Shift Your Social Media Marketing Up One Gear

Five Social Media Marketing Tips that Will Shift Your Social Media Marketing Up One Gear

Social media is a great place to market your business, especially if you’re a small business. It doesn’t limit your traffic or reach, and allows you to connect directly with buyers without having to invest large amounts of money. By optimizing your approach to social media marketing, you can indefinitely increase everything from brand recall to lead generation, and actual sales and revenue.

If you’re unable to scale your current efforts at social media marketing, this write-up will tell you exactly how you can do it to achieve your desired results.

Social Media Marketing Tips

1. More Frequent and Intentional Posting

Be it over the internet or on social media platforms, your activity is your pulse. Unless you’re consistently active, you’re as good as dead on social media. After all, nobody hangs out on your social page. They have to be seduced to take a look and the only arms that you can extend are your pieces of content.

Conduct this experiment. Increase your social media activity and you’ll see your followers grow. Decide on a schedule. For instance, three times a day on Twitter, two on Facebook and only once on LinkedIn. UseGoogle’s keyword planner to see what your audience is looking for and source that content using a news aggregator like FlipBoard, a content curation app like DrumUp or a recommendation app like Pocket  (set-up keywords).

Relevant shares are more likely to get engagement from exclusively your target audience. Edit your descriptions to something extra-specific so you attract the right audience.

Social Media Marketing Tips - More Frequent and Intentional Posting

From your content recommendations, schedule the decided amount of content every day or a week in advance. You could even store content on a content library in a content curation app to make scheduling everyday easier.

2. Creating Content Based on Predicted Performance

It takes hours to create high-quality content, as you may well know, and that effort is best applied to content that you know will get shares, increase you reach and make an impact. How do you know?

Google trends, audience interests/insights available on social media platforms and engagement stats pulled by social media analytics tools.

Social Media Marketing Tips - Creating Content Based on Predicted Performance

You don’t have to monitor these platforms on a daily basis. Once a week would do. Simply observe which of your blog posts got the most shares on social media (SumoMe has a free count plug-in that integrates with your blog). Study Google Analytics to see which blog landing pages are driving traffic to your website. Keep a tab of topics trending in search. Decide on your topic title based on these indicators and share your posts on social media.

3. Interacting with Social Users on Communities

Communities are where the most valuable conversations happen on social media (from the perspective of businesses). Social communities are created for people with similar interests to meet and discuss the latest happenings, issues and ideas on how to solve them. You may not recognize them as such, but it is easy to recognize those opportunities once you’re a part of the right communities.

On each social media platform that you’re on, join groups that discuss your niche. The idea is to become a part of that community. Do not promote your product as soon as you join the community. You’ll lose your credibility and any opportunity that you might have in the future. Spend five minutes a day participating and introduce your product only when it answers someone’s question.

There are two straight-out benefits of participating in communities: the relationships you build with your high-target audience and constantly being at the top of their minds. (They’ll think of you when they want to buy. Some great communities to be a part of are sub-reddits discussing your industry, Quora and communities on Google Plus.

4. Including Compelling Visuals on Every Post

Everyone’s aware of how visuals add value to written content. But what value do your visuals actually add? The same rule that applies to written content applies to other forms of content. What point is your visual making on the post?

Begin by conceptualizing your visual. What do you want it to convey? Think emotion, process or summary describing the title of your post. Once you’ve decided on the concept, browse for options. There are severalfree visual resources that stock wide ranges of photographs that you’ll be surprised to see fit your posts.

Social Media Marketing Tips - Including Compelling Visuals on Every Post

If you intend to create your visual, that isn’t very hard either. Google for inspiration, source your background from an image resource and use an image editor like PicMonkey to put together your visual. To create an infographic, you could use Piktochart.

5. Encouraging Employees, Partners and Friends to Share Content

There’s no better way to cut through the noise on social media than making advocates of your personal and professional network. You could use this employee advocacy guide to understand how such a program is developed and managed. Studies have shown that advocacy on social media increases the credibility of the message broadcast. Another obvious advantage is the instant, increased reach.

You simply begin by explaining why you need your advocate’s help. Show them exactly how they’ll impact your business and show your appreciation towards their efforts by rewarding them. Spend extra time devising the messages you intend to circulate via your network of advocates because it has potential to go viral. Other studies show that messages shared via advocates are shared many times as compared to those shared via company pages on social media.

To be assured of success on social media, you have to survey the latest studies and case studies and learn what works to apply the insights to your business. This write-up is insights derived from experience and brands that have succeeded on social media. All that’s left to see is how you apply it to your business.

What You Can Learn from One Fictional Movie Character – and Two Real Life Entrepreneurs

Image result for What You Can Learn from One Fictional Movie Character – and Two Real Life Entrepreneurs

Despite all odds, Rocky Balboa believed in himself.

The fictional fighter in the Rocky movie series from the Philadelphia slums could have felt sorry for himself, given up and blamed others.

Did he? NO! As he says in Rocky III:

“Nobody owes nobody nothin’. You owe yourself.”

In other words, don’t think of all the things that can go wrong and then feel defeated because a problem arises. You owe it to yourself to give it your best … and make a grab for greatness.

Yet it’s hard to feel that way on days when it seems like everything that can go wrong, does.

I know. Sometimes as an entrepreneur it can feel like your dream is impossible.

Don’t give up!

It’s Not Just Movie Characters Who Achieve Against All Odds

While a multitude of quotes from the Rocky movies have inspired entrepreneurs, you don’t have to look to the movies for motivation.

Consider Mark Zuckerberg. A little more than a decade ago, he was a college student. He didn’t even graduate from college. Today, as co-founder of Facebook, he is the sixth richest person in the world on the Forbes 2016 billionaire list.

Rising from college student to CEO, Zuckerberg created a site that reaches over 1 billion daily active users — that’s nearly 15 percent of the world’s population!

Sounds impossible doesn’t it?

Or there’s Richard Branson, the iconic entrepreneur. He started with nothing and then built his own airline, Virgin Atlantic. He wasn’t from the airline industry. It wasn’t like he had a lot of money at the time, either. But somehow he started his own airline.

And today, he’s one of the handful of pioneers of private space flight with his company, Virgin Galactic.

Think about that a moment. Who starts their own space travel company? What could be more impossible than that?

Granted, those two people are unique. Few of us are going to become billionaires.

Get Motivated by People Who Reached for the Stars

So instead, draw inspiration from what they overcame to achieve a seemingly impossible thing. Being a billionaire is not the definition of success. No one is suggesting that just because you fall short of Zuckerberg’s net worth you can’t be successful.

Think about what it must have been like in the early days for Zuckerberg and Branson. Surely many things went wrong. Some people doubted them. They probably had trouble getting some of their calls returned. They likely worried about where they’d get the money to build their companies (even as they showed a confident face to the world). But somehow they kept on, driven by their dreams.

Whatever you are dreaming of in business, go for it.

Dream no small dreams. Don’t fixate on all the odds against you. Reach for the stars.

HTC One A9s Launch Tipped for Thursday Ahead of IFA 2016

  • HTC’s One A9 successor tipped to be named HTC One A9s
  • The smartphone is expected to be launched on September 1
  • One A9s tipped to come in Black, Gold, and bluish-silver colours

It will be an understatement to say that HTC’s One A9shares some design similarities with Apple’s iPhone 6/ iPhone 6s, with critics as well as consumers around the world pointing out how the devices look exactly the same, barring some minor changes here and there. If rumours are to be believed, the successor to the HTC phone will not only carry a similar hardware design but also the naming convention followed by latest smartphones in Apple’s iPhone series.

According to a person familiar with the matter, HTC is planning to unveil the successor to its One A9 smartphone a day before the scheduled start of IFA in Germany and it will be called HTC One A9s,reports Venture Beat’s Evan Blass. As per the leaked images of the smartphone provided to the website, except for repositioning of camera lenses, flash, and sensors, the hardware design of the smartphone looks exactly like its predecessor.

The HTC branding has been removed from the front of the phone and from the leaked images it looks like the smartphone will come in Black, Gold, and bluish-silver colour variants.

There have not been many leaks regarding the phone’s specifications but it is believed to come with a 13-megapixel rear camera, unchanged from predecessor, and a 5-megapixel front camera.

The HTC One A9s is expected to be launched by the company on September 1. Even though the leaked information looks solid, we will have to wait for the company to make an official announcement.
